My family has a long history of naming children Richard.

My first born son is Richard Michael Martini so my grandchildren have an “Uncle Richard.”

My brother is Richard James Krueger so my children have an “Uncle Richard.”

My mother (Ruth Dunphy Krueger)’s brother was Richard Matthew Dunphy so I had an “Uncle Richard.”

My mother’s mother (Ellen Rowan Dunphy)’s father was Richard Matthew Rowan.

My father (Waldo Krueger)’s father was Maximilian Richard Krueger.

My husband’s mother (Grace)’s maiden name was Ricciardi – surely a form of Richard?

Who of my children will name their next child Richard? Can I brainwash newlyweds Joe and Jennie into carrying on the tradition?
