Father Colosimo taught many years at Loyola High School in L.A. His subject was advanced Math. He is now in his eighties and still teaching a few math classes. Father Colosimo has taught math to my husband, my three sons and currently my grandson, Vincent. Father speaks rapidly with a strong Italian accent. Students soon learn to “listen”!
This man is so knowledgeable about Life, especially adolescents. His prayer life is to be admired. His Christmas letters really bring out the true meaning of the love of Jesus.
Father used to enjoy gourmet cooking – especially desserts! When he honored us with a visit, it would get him away from the smog of the city and give him the opportunity to cook. He’d send a list of ingredients home with one of my sons, but wouldn’t tell me what he planned to cook. As he prepared the dinner, we’d sit and visit over our glasses of wine. Nice memories. We love you, Father Colosimo and hope your health allows you to stay with us many more years.
Now Father is retired and living at the Jesuit residence in Los Gatos. [ed: Father Colosimo passed away in 2006.]
